The Red Queen, Chapter 2: The Beginning of the Visions

I decided to take a good hot bath with essential oils instead of a shower. My muscles are sore from training.

Once I'm done, I pull my long fiery red hair back into a fishtail braid and head to my bedroom to change. I opt for a crop top with grena lace and white jeans with holes in the knee.

I put on lavender perfume, my favourite, I put on light make-up and I regrade myself one last time in the mirror before going downstairs for supper.

At table

"Lia, beat me again" Seth said with a puppy dog ​​face

I start laughing, it's stronger than me

Our mother smiles, holding back a giggle and our father stifles a laugh too

With that, once we finished supper, I go back to my room and at the same time, my phone rings, It's Emilia my best friend

Phone call

"Other than I beat Seth with the sword, I'm fine" I replied.

with that, I felt a sharp pain in my head which made me moan in pain and I dropped my phone, it fell heavily to the ground which scared my best friend

I can barely hear what my best friend is saying to me. I'm like hypnotized. Soon, the pain dissipates and gives way to images.

I see a huge castle located at the bottom of a mountain with frightening and gloomy appearances. The famous Black Mountain. She is in conversation with what appears to be one of her servants. He looks suspiciously like Logan, a servant in the service of my family, but I don't have time to dwell on that, I just content myself with what they say:

I wanted to ask what it meant, but all I wanted right now was sleep

Seth returns with two pills and a glass of water, which I swallow before falling into a deep sleep with Emilia by my side.
