I'm curled up on myself in a corner of the room and I rock back and forth while continuing to sob silently because I don't want to wake Amé. The more seconds pass, the more I feel like I'm suffocating. Moreover, I have a feeling that this dream means something, that it is a sign. If it's so that I always redo the same one every night, it's not a simple coincidence. With that, I felt a hand on my shoulder, and then arms around me. It's Ame. I, who didn't want to wake her up, failed. She must have heard my sniffles.
Ame with a voice hoarse from waking up: Elena, my beauty, what is it? You are shaking like a leaf.
I quickly wipe away a few tears that have fallen before answering him.
Elena: I... it's okay, don't worry.
Amé: Elena, I'm not stupid, I can see that it's not right. We promised to tell each other everything, remember?
She's right, I promised her, so might as well tell her.
So I tell my best friend my nightmare from A to Z, and she hugs me even more.
Ame with a soft voice and while stroking my hair like a mother would: It's just a bad dream my beautiful, nothing more. It's not real. I'm fine and so are you. Relax.
Elena: I...I'm too scared of losing you, I wouldn't survive it if something happened to you. This nightmare seemed so real, and I can't help thinking that this is some sign.
Amé: My beauty, look at me, you won't lose me, you can be sure of it, you won't get rid of me so easily.
I smirked at his remark before starting to sob again.
Ame hugging me a little more against her: Please, sis, calm down, you're safe, you have nothing to fear.
Amelia's POV
I worry a lot about Elena, she cries constantly and is seized with disturbing tremors. She has been in this state for more than an hour now, although I try to calm her down, it has no effect, I don't know what to do. It's 7am and I'm willing to bet Elena hasn't slept the rest of the night, I can see her dark circles. With that, my best friend's cell phone started ringing, and I cast a quick glance at her, who motioned for me to answer for her because she didn't have the strength.
The screen shows a photo of a pretty handsome blond guy, Ethan, Elena's boyfriend
Phone call
Ethan: Elena, sweetie, how are you?
Amé: Uh...it's not Elena, it's Amélia, what's up, did you come back from your training in Bolivia?
Ethan with a voice that is both sorry and worried: Oh sorry, Hi Amé yes I came back yesterday, but why are you answering and not Elena, what's wrong with her, she's fine ?
Amé: Eu, she, no, she's actually not well, but you should come home, I think it would be easier to explain to you face to face, and also I think you're the only one to calm Elena down.
Ethan more and more worried: Calm her down, why is she having such a fit?
Amé: Oh Ethan please, I'll explain later, just hurry and come as soon as possible.
Ethan: It's okay, it's okay I'm coming I'll be at the door in 10 minutes
Amé: Ok, perfect has more, bye.
Ethan: Bye, see you in a few minutes.
End of telephone conversation
As expected, Ethan arrived 10 minutes later, and so I told him what had happened.
Amé: Since then she's been in shock and I don't know how to calm her down.
Ethan: Where is she, I'm going to see her
Amé: she's upstairs in our room
End of Amelia's POV
Ethan's POV:
So I went to the girls' room looking for Elena, and I found her in a corner in a ball, her head between her knees. So I approached her slowly and put my hands on her knees while squatting at her height. She raised her head with red eyes full of tears.
Elena sobbing: Ethan? When did you come back?
Ethan with a soft voice: Yesterday sweetie, I called you earlier, but it was Amélia who answered, and she explained everything to me.
Elena wiping her tears: I didn't know who was displayed on the screen, I thought it was still for polls.
Ethan: Don't worry, I don't blame you sweetheart, I was just worried about you.
I sat down next to her, then Elena threw herself into my arms and snuggled up against me. I hugged her a little tighter against my chest, whispering to her: "It's fine sweetie, you're safe, nothing's going to happen to you or Amélia, I'll protect you from anyone who dares to hurt you. »
Once calmed, the latter fell asleep in a deep sleep, still in my arms.
After seeing her dark circles, a little nap would do her the greatest good.
